So this would explain why the tribal guys are the ones leading the crusade?

I’ve spent enough time around tribal hunters and fishermen from that rez, they live in glass houses and generally have a chip on their shoulder towards non tribal members.

From my experiences with their hunting practices, it’s appalling the lack of respect and ethics, but that’s pretty standard for a lot of the local tribes.

Same. Their comments are no better than your average poachers. I'll keep the rest of my comments to myself to keep the thread on track.

You hunt big animals where they are. This dude has been laying down big animals for a really long time. He just loves elk hunting. I remember him killing an ok bull in Oregon a couple years ago a few weeks after killing a couple 380+ bulls and he appeared to be just as excited.

Just because he wasn’t 17 miles from the trailhead, solo, and out of food for the last 6 days of the hunt to kill the bull doesn’t take away from the whole thing. He’s clearly stoked. (Btw, I think most of the people throwing hate wouldn’t be able to last a weekend hunting with this guy, he’s clearly a well rounded hunter).

Most guys showing hate would’ve whacked that bull in their grandmas back yard with its head in a picnic basket if given the chance.. (I would have )

100%

Let’s be honest, most the guys hating will never work hard enough to buy the tags Casey has/ does. I’m hoping to get to that point, but it takes A LOT of work after everyone else has gone home.

Buddy of mine went with his friend on some tribal land…had access because his buddies father in law is dating a tribal girl. Her brother was guiding them and they were just the hired guns to fill tribal tags. He said never again…multiple times got yelled at for trespassing on private property with the land owners asking why do they constantly have to tell him the land boundaries and why he persists on trespassing. Multiple other uncomfortable scenarios as well. But the guide just laughed it all off like he wasn’t bothered by any of it.

What does he work so hard at to afford it? Help a guy out, I’d love to have more hunting funds

How is jealousy relevant to people not being impressed with the way in which an animal is hunted and killed?

If you you’re not impressed then move on, no need to comment on your disapproval…. It isn’t going to bring the elk back from dead nor is it going to sway other people’s opinion.

I think everyone’s entitled to their opinion and they’re allowed to post it on here. This is literally a hunting discussion board it’s what we do.

Wow, I'm blown away reading all the ass kissing on this thread. Paying boatloads of cash to shoot a winter range suburban bull over bait should never be celebrated. When are people going to quit supporting these gluttonous "influencer" hunters? Man it's a bad look for responsible and ethical hunting. This is just ammo for the antis. We need to be our own worst critics
