New weatherby 4lbs

I’m glad to see innovation, and like light weight rifles, but not sure if this rifle would be for me.

I have never shot a 6 lug only a 9 lug Weatherby, is the 6 lug easier to open than the 9 lug? I would assume so, but am curious.

Also I have never used a Ti action, but have worked with Ti in other applications, and Ti can get sticky for lack of a better term.

Lastly, I would prefer a tikka style DBM.

Just my thoughts, and who cares. I’m glad to see new things like I said.

I’m disappointed the 338rpm isn’t in the mix. What better to have when hiking through bear country to get to sheep country. I suppose I would choose the 280 if the chamberings don’t change down the road. I’m looking forward to the reviews. This might force me to sell some out of the back of the safe that don’t see much daylight.i was considering the 307 Alpine until this showed up.
