Thanks been an awesome setup! Tracking has been right on. Reticle is a little thick for paper, but seems like it will be good for game. You have a custom cds?

Not yet. I reload so I am still in the process of refining my load. I got really good results with a certain powder charge and OAL but after calling Nosler today they have me a little concerned I'm close to max pressure. Shot really good groups though and was over 3200fps which is like lightning for a 175 grain 7mm bullet. I will say when I do settle on the load, I will be getting the zero stop like you

I am pretty sure you have the mounts on backwards. The one with windage screws should be on the rear action area. Switch those around and you'll have much better clearance

BULLBLASTER is correct, the mounts are backwards front to back - and WHY didn't you go with one of the myriad of lightweight one piece systems ?

Have you tried a single piece base?

Have not... not sure i want a mount to be over the bolt... maybe down the road will look at talleys or something.

I use a single base with Warne rings on my savage. Add a little removable thread lock and I have no worries. One piece base just gives me a little more piece of mind. I dunno, I tend to over-engineer things though.

Yes, it's a little tight with the 300wsm rounds but it works
