I really don't see a point to this rangefinder if it doesn't have ballistic calcs or temp/bara adjustments built in. Companies should be pushing boundaries with each release not just upping the yardage 500 yards. The only real contenders in the ranging handheld market to me are the Leica 1600B and the G7 BR2. The BR2 is so ridiculously over priced that as soon as Leica, Bushnell or another company adds the ability to do custom curves no one will buy it. My cousin has the BR2 and we both use it and love it but jeez, $1800 is nuts. All Leica has to do to their Rangmaster is make a removable chip for custom curves like the Geovid already has and it will outsell anything out there and be half the price of the G7. I am hoping SHOT has some new rangefinders introduced. Vortex is just killing me lately, I feel they have gotten complacent.
