Iā€™d disagree on that. Mine has factory shocks, brother has limited with fox shocks, his is very noticeably smoother ride. Not that the others are rough, his is just better.
Yeah everyone that Iā€™ve read up on that upgraded said the Fox shocks are 1000 times better then factory.

They are stickers on factory valved shocks. I got to here a rant about all kinds of technical shit over my head the other day.
Iā€™ll have a set of factory shocks Iā€™ll make you a good deal on.

Iā€™m kinda jealous although Iā€™d much rather have the 500 so that Iā€™m 50ā€ trail legal
Yeah if just me I agree but thatā€™s only a 2 seater. They came out with a new 520.

Keep a close eye on those wheel spacers. I haven't had great experience with them, not on utvs tho. I won't run them on anything anymore. If they loosen up you don't know it till it's too late. I'd pull the tires before a trip to check them, locktite as well, just need to make sure you can still get them off of course.

Honda was on my list. Then Yamaha did the Rmax. Big upgrade from a rhino. Honda should last you, they have always been reliable and dependable

I paid $17.4k otd including tax, add about $1k-$6k for accessories depending on what you want to do, so not cheap. But look at it this way, itā€™s a family rig that can be used most of the year and no worries of damaging your daily driver or buying an old hunting rig that maybe constantly needs work and theyā€™ll go most places easily that is hard on a truck or even a stock Jee. Also the Hondaā€™s at least are super easy to work on.
Damn! That's awesome though, and you make a great point. For now I'll live vicariously through some of you better off peeps here on Rokslide :D

I blue lock tighted them on but will check them at 50 miles to make sure they are still torqued down. So far I havenā€™t read up on them being an issue for utvā€™ s.

Only downside to them in snow is they high center easily. I got my CanAm stuck on my NV hunt. They are like a sled on the bottom so they will ride right up a drift and leave you with no traction. Luckily someone came by to pull me out.

Fox has great marking but in reality they dyno one out of every 20 shocks and for what you are paying there are much better options. For a revalve of the factory set that will ride better and last longer than fox your looking in the 600 ish range then ad a spring kit to what goal is would be $500.00. The fox springs will last a year with moderate use. He just did a set for a guy who had fox and the customer was astonished at how stable the utv was making turns and hauling vs the fox kit. If you are wanting to go top end ohlins would be it but then 8000.00 is a little steep for most who just use them for fun.

Anyone have some pics of meat in these things? I wanna see an elk laying in the back of one.
I have a 1000-5 but can't typically use it on my hunts. My buddy has a 500 which is legal on more trails.

Yeah, Iā€™m going to change out the Fox springs, they are progressive, Iā€™ll be putting on 250lb fronts and 300lb rears, also going to change out the valve caps to JC racing since the stock ones do leak but Iā€™ll wait till they start to leak.

Those little 500ā€™s are decently priced as well, if you donā€™t need the extra seats thatā€™s the way to go.
