Enlarged the push buttons for angle adjustments on the final version of the bipod.

Pretty much everyone who handled the RP at the WHE preordered it. I am blown away by the number of orders we have. We have tripled our initial production to keep up with the demand.

It’s because this is something hunters will actually use. I’ve spent many nights/mornings with an old tall Harris against a tree. I don’t do that as much, but this is the modern version plus the benefit of only needing one bipod from prone to seated. I honestly don’t know why this wasn’t made so much sooner or why Gunwerks wasn’t this.

My brother in Christ if you are surprised by a sturdy prone-to-kneeling bipod for under 1lb and less than a thousand dollars being popular, wait until you find out who we voted for president in 2020

You will buy one once you use it. The pan feature is not an issue with the large ball.
Send one over then and we'll test your theory.
If the pan has no effect I'll send you a check.
To @WKR 's point, add a SKU trading the ball and socket for a hinge and pin.
ZYou would have a happier customer from me as well.
Adding pan is a waste of rigidity to me

I have one on preorder but would much prefer if you removed the pan. It is not needed and will/does cause issues.

I’m sure I can live with it, but would much prefer a pin and hinge to the ball. I never want my bipod feet anything other than perpendicular to the barrel.

I can always drill and pin it myself.

I'd probably buy one if it didn't have a pan feature... or just make another model without pan feature and I'll buy that one.
Also, show some videos/pictures of the shorter legs attached.

Explain to a layman on the subject why everyone seems to not want pan and why they would have made it with it instead of without.
Thanks

Look into "natural point of aim" for why pan is a negative pre-shot

Also after the shot breaks, recoil needs to be coming straight backwards, not at an angle to the target, to be able to spot hits/misses or follow up.

Same reason you want your tripod legs setup with one leg forward in line with the rifle bore and other two legs pointed rear evenly spaced when shooting.

If you start getting funky angles from your supports, the rifle won’t recoil back in a straight line. It makes it more difficult to manage recoil, causes misses, and makes spotting shots more difficult.

This bipod looks really good. It’s nice to see an affordable competitor to a double pull Ckyepod. Without pan or a way to lockout pan independent of cant it would be a no brainer.
