I've wanted a 45-70 for a long time and finally bit the bullet and got one. It's a Rossi R95. Swapped the wood for Magpul, added picatinny rail and Holosun 510. Fit and finish, functionality, and accuracy are good. Less than an inch at 100 with factory ammo. Unfortunately I didn't receive it until our PA season was almost over so it only got out for few hours. Looking forward to some more range time and next season.

ooohhh, yeah I have been wanting a Marlin/Ruger for a few years. might have to get one if I draw the restricted rifle tag this year! Nice build on yours, enjoy!
