I'm new to Rokslide, though I've occasionally lurked for years when needing information. I have archery hunted exclusively for the last 15 years or so, after growing up rifle hunting. My daughter is coming of age to be able to hunt big game, so I am getting back into rifle hunting with hopes of giving her more opportunities for success early on.
I just bought my first new rifle in about 20 years - a 22" threaded Tikka T3X in 6.5prc. I plan to buy an unknown OG, and run a Maven RS.5 4x24x50.
I will also be hunting Idaho this year for the first time - only hunted Oregon up until this hunt. We drew Salmon B tags. Excited for new scenery, and a new style of hunting.
