What are tips you wish you knew when you first started. Hit me with some wisdom so I have less finding out the hard way please guys
Certified? Do you mean that in a generic term like when people say "he's a genuine...."Get a certified teacher to teach you proper form and avoid years of "fixing".
why do you say that?
So a bot is looking for bow hunting info? It's a super generic post by a brand new member in the general forum, and an emoji to boot.

Definitely gonna look into that. Just hard when it’s a good 3 hour drive just to get within a pro shop let alone a good teacherGet a certified teacher to teach you proper form and avoid years of "fixing".
Definitely not a bot mate. Just trying to get some info as I live in a town that is in the middle of nowhere in Australia but if you don’t wanna contribute feel free to go and Carry on on another thread. Or if you wanna be helpful and maybe point me to a thread that is already like this instead that works too. It's a super generic post by a brand new member in the general forum, and an emoji to boot.
To be honest it will probably just be deer and pigs out where I live. That makes a lot of sense man appreciate the tip. Ill definitely do this when I’m practicing. What are you planning to hunt? Reason I ask is that practicing for shot scenarios of the given species is helpful. Simply shooting straight line at a broadside target is only going to get you so far. Practicing different elevations and angles will help a lot.
I think some people are a bit paranoid. Couldn’t possibly just be a bloke that can’t find anyone within a 4 hour radius to teach or hunt with just looking for some tips and help to make life easier hahaSo a bot is looking for bow hunting info?

Thanks. I got a bow from a mate while I learn some fundamentals then I’ll get something of my own a bit later on.My tip would be to find a good forum and read as much as you can stand to read on there, even before you buy anything. I wish I had done that.
Second tip would be to find a mentor, locally ideal but not a requirement. Maybe an older dude, you earn the wisdom by breaking your back for him.
