So, as the title says, I'm new to this whole chassis thing, and the adjustments have me a little stumped.

I know what comb height and length of pull are, but how are you determining these settings?

What makes you adjust these items?

It's a KRG Bravo but I don't think that matters

You are essentially fitting or tailoring the rifle to you. For comb height, I like to have it adjusted to a repeatable anchor point on my face while simultaneously having the scope squared to my eye. Max the magnification and play around with it. Ideally, you'll have little to no shadow in the scope and will be able to quickly get there (repeatable anchor point). Length of pull, for me, is a comfort thing. I like to have the length of pull set to where I can address the trigger without creating any torque in the system and keeping the applied forces (grip, trigger work, etc) inline with the bore. Takes some time to play around with, but it is certainly worth the work. Can and likely will improve your grouping.

Yeah I like to shoulder mine with my eyes closed (or get behind prone) and get a comfortable natural cheek weld and then open my eyes. It’ll be obvious if the cheek height is incorrect.
