New TMK announced

88s dont really intrigue me for a short barreled 223.

Agreed.

On the other hand, 88s in a .22-250 should be making the .22-250 even better than its original parent cartridge, the .250-3000 (originally loaded with an 87-grain bullet). It still won’t be legal for deer in Virginia, but I think it will be fun to shoot 0-600 on other things.

Similarly, I am excited about the 107s and 116s in my .243, which is on its way back to me from Alpine Rifles after having some stuff added to the stock. I expect that will be a Quick Drop friendly equivalent to my old .25-06. Which in turn will be fun with the heavier options.

Said it before but a 75-82 grain TMK not designed around 2.26" magazines would be attractive for 223s.

88s dont really intrigue me for a short barreled 223.

I have a 16” 223ai that I’ll be able to load them around 2.45”, hopefully as long as 2.5”.

Fireforming with 88eldms at 2700 with lever at that length, they shot pretty small.

I’m not sure why I’m so intrigued by it. But I saved a couple hundred of the 88 TMK’s to give it a go.

Surprised I was able to grab some 22 cal 88’s and 6mm 107’s tonight. Feel like I’m cheating on my stash of 77’s and 95’s, but figured I gotta try them out!
