When are they going to build a 60 gr .204 TMK so @Formidilosus builds a 20 creed and shoot a buffalo at 600 yards and break the internet all over again?

Maybe too late or OBE, but if Sierra could release heavy versions for popular chamberings (creeds?) that enable solid quick drop calcs that would be DANDY. A bullet designed for bucking the wind, max terminal wallop and quick drop would be fantastic.

Ha! If you think folks haven’t been killing big game for years with 20 practicals and 204 rugers you’re mistaken

On my first trip to Alaska, I was staying with a friend from forestry college, and her boyfriend at the time was a native fella. He asked what rifle I had brought to bear hunt with (black bears). When I said it was a .300 win mag, he laughed and said the last one he shot was with a .204R.

Id be curious to know what 204r bullets are used on big game? Granted not using head shots. I have a .204, albeit a slow twist, but .20 cal is legal in my parts.

I’ve been apart of kills with 39 grain blitz king, 40 grain VMAX, and 40 grain BT Varmint.

Maybe I’m missing something but I’d be surprised if they become available or have picked a 6mm grain size yet? Being that these guys on here are still shooting/testing

This is intriguing... just ordering a 22ARC that I had planned to shoot 88ELDM for a sheep hunt next year... might be re thinking that and looking at the 88gr TMK instead.

It is. I downloaded it to play with it. Seems like just another ballistic app that only includes their bullets (Barnes included)

I like the option to import enviromentals directly via phone rather than an external unit. However, I think it's just pulling nearest weather station data plus phone altitude. Not sure how accurate that will be out in the remote west.

I don't like that (ostensibly) I can't remove inches of wind/drop and orient the table portrait. I prefer the quick-reference to just give me mils and speed things up at a larger font.
