On my first trip to Alaska, I was staying with a friend from forestry college, and her boyfriend at the time was a native fella. He asked what rifle I had brought to bear hunt with (black bears). When I said it was a .300 win mag, he laughed and said the last one he shot was with a .204R.I

Id be curious to know what 204r bullets are used on big game? Granted not using head shots. I have a .204, albeit a slow twist, but .20 cal is legal in my parts.I

I’ve been apart of kills with 39 grain blitz king, 40 grain VMAX, and 40 grain BT Varmint.Id be curious to know what 204r bullets are used on big game? Granted not using head shots. I have a .204, albeit a slow twist, but .20 cal is legal in my parts.

I agree, but could be one of the ones that they appear know the weight on already.Maybe I’m missing something but I’d be surprised if they become available or have picked a 6mm grain size yet? Being that these guys on here are still shooting/testing
