• Does Dead Air typically also release 6.5 versions, or only .30s?

I'm also mostly ignorant regarding Recoil X muzzle brakes.

• How does it attach? Is the Dead Air OTB threaded for it out-of-the-box?

• Has anyone had a chance to compare it to an OG6.5 regarding sound?

Dead Air has swappable endcaps... so you can put a .30 endcap on or swap to the 6.5 end cap depending on what you are shooting.

I'm not aware of any dead air 6.5 cal cans. Seems they do typically bolt gun cans in 30 cal, 556 gasser cans (also 6mm lazarus gasser can), or 33 cal.

They have threaded end caps like many cans do. Scythe, reaper, DD enticer, etc. Recoil x or other end cap brakes just replace the end cap.

I'm interested in a balance of good sound and recoil reduction in an OTB can for my 20" 6.5 PRC. This with a Recoil X looks like it's possibly the best choice currently. It's too bad the OG6.5 isn't threaded for a Recoil X or similar. I'd prefer the smaller diameter can.

I still wanna see some db numbers on these. From the testing we’re doing, our Reapers with reflex options should blow these out of the water later this summer if these aren’t revolutionary or anything. But like I said I’d like to see some real numbers and info.

Why do you guys keep replying to other suppressor threads trying to pimp your suppressors or discredit others?

You haven’t had the best track record of suppressor performance since the introduction of the OG and that debacle. I don’t see any of the other suppressor maker sponsors on here making similar comments.

Dead air has a long history of producing quality cans and I would be this will be another success.

We’re doing things now that nobody else is doing including impressive OTB stuff. Is Dead Air a sponsor on here? I’m not going to post anything in an Airlock thread. Actually I have posted HELPFUL things in Airlock threads now that I think about it if Danny was out of town or something. I rarely post anything anymore or comment on much.

If you’d recalled it, offered a discount to people that bought it, or when you realized it was a dud, not brought it to market, then there wouldn’t be a horse to beat.

As far as you doing things nobody else is doing… I bet they’re great. That being said, they didn’t blow away anybody in the OL tests. Time will tell after further INDEPENDENT testing.

You almost got it right. Start a thread, tell everyone about what you’re coming out with. Don’t jump on another thread about a competitor and try to talk your can up and theirs down.

Also, when has anyone lied about the OG? It’s constantly metered 132-134 out of a 308. It’s been rated @ 133 from the start. US said that, @Ryan Avery said that, etc. The beating the dead horse comment comes from a handful of people constantly acting like they were deceived. Do you own the gen 1 OG30?

Any plans on bringing muzzle brake compatibility (or built-in) to the smaller diameter (1.55") OTB cans? Or is the trend going to be to keep getting fatter (OG-6S, Reaper, and other brands)?

I'm really interested to see how these cans actually meter.

Requiring the Xeno makes the weight vs reduction seem a little skewed.

It's annoying when companies advertise weight of something, when at that weight its just a thing that is unusable. Post actual weight that you can use it at. The scythe is the same way, the advertised weight doesn't include any way to attach it to a rifle.
