New Titanium Dead Air OTB

Cool. Fair to assume the 10.5 ounces doesn't include the 2 ounces from the xeno adapter? Woulda been cooler to be direct threaded so it doesn't add weight/length for no reason.

Maybe fair to assume? Not a ton different overall size from the nomad xc, but listed as .8 ounces heavier than the xc with xeno.

If it’s not 10.5oz with the adapter and has better suppression than the US OG, it’s not that interesting.

It should have better suppression than the OG, if not it's a fail. It's larger diameter and more length barrel forward. A more apples to apples compare would be with OG-L that is of similar diameter and accommodates thicker barrels. Not sure it has a removeable front cap like all the other nomads and OG-L though? Would be a good candidate for a brake up front.

Also DA has much better distribution options than US. Most folks can buy a DA off the shelf somewhere without going through additional transfer costs/coordination.

Dead Air made their Nomad Ti an OTB option utilizing their Xeno mount

10.5oz 7.6" Overall Length, adds 4.6" to firearm, rated for 300 RUM/7BC at 16", and fits up to 1" diameter barrels

Curious to see how it compares in sound reduction, weight, length, etc. with different AB Raptor combinations.

These are the good old days of hunting firearm ownership! Things are cheap, we are getting what we want, technology is advancing like crazy.

I feel like 3d printed cans are like going from car phones to mobiles. It's going to go faster than we can keep up for a while.

Reading the description the xeno adapter is printed/machined directly into the suppressor. It's not an add on like the hub version.

I'm talking about the one that goes on the muzzle. Unless dudes start machining their barrels with xeno patterns, you're adding a muzzle device for that interface which adds weight and length. The xeno radial brake it appears these ship with weighs 2.7 ounces.
