Anyone have any intel on when the new version of Tikka T3x will be available?

Eurooptic has some of the Roughtech T3x in tan in stock. Not sure on when the roughtech black and Veil editions will be available.

Eurooptic actually has 4 of the Veil options in stock. Looks like they have the 6.5 Creed, 270, 308 and 300WSM. I would imagine we will see more trickle in shortly.

What exactly did they change on the new version? Just coatings?

I believe the changes are a veil camo stock, cerakote, fulted bolt, muzzle brake, and if I am not mistaken it has a bit heavier contour barrel than the standard T3X.

I just got the “older” wood stock model in 270win for $700 new. I really like it.

Based upon weight, it will be the same or very close. Unsure on the "felt recoil" due to the improved pad. To me the T3X Lite in 300 Win Mag does not live up to the Internet hype around "punishing recoil".

I have my eye on the Veil Wideland in 6.5 Creedmoor. Might wait for a 6.5 PRC but I'm sure those will be hard to get if they do get released. I don't care for the Cerakote color though, I'm mostly wanting the threaded barrel. Does anyone know if these are Cerakoted stainless steel?
