New Tikka T3X .270 Bolt Noise

I do see some rubbing marks on the bolt right behind the lugs, looks very smooth on one side and on the other it looks more machined (if that’s the right term). And I do not own a bore scope.

I spoke to Beretta and they said it likely does not affect function and is two parts just rubbing together which will eventually even out.

In fairness the guy helping me was really great and he said I could send it in if it bothered me. I might wait until the after holidays to take him up on that

That’s good. They haven’t always been known as receptive or helpful.

Besides this issue, how is the accuracy with the Tikka in the .270? I have been eyeballing the Super Varmint.
