New Tikka Ring Option from Warne

I'm curious if anyone has any further updates on these rings? Would i be crazy to use these on a sheep hunt with a .270?

I had these on my tikka 6.5 and have had over 200 rounds of testing from mild loads to hot loads. I actually took them off today and noticed no shifting. I took them off because my unknown munitions tikka rings finally showed up. I honestly was on the fence about taking the warnes off but opted to make the switch.

Just get a set of the Mountain tech rings, and sleep easy. I've ran them on 300 WSM, 3030, 308, 3x 6.5 cm's, and a 25 Creedmoor rifle; I use their other QD rings for my tactical and thermal guns. I've never had a single issue with rings coming loose and not returning to zero. They also have legitimately the best customer service if you need them.

I travel often for hunting East and West Coast, and used them for years in and out of vehicles (ATV, helicopter, jeeps, etc)

They’ve definitely been in stock at times in the past. I wasn’t on the wait list very long this time around. They also come up on the classifieds fairly regularly.

I have 3 pairs of mountain techs. My current fav with a pic rail. They are a bit heavier than a few other options but likely a good comprise of weight and strength.

There is definitely a difference. The UM are definitely more robust and I like how there are two pins that keep the rings.

I would. It took me a couple months to get mine.
