New Tikka rifles - T3x Ace

Might be a decent option if a guy is going to use it for open heavy in NRL still, just too heavy for Factory division if it's actually 9.5#. The Tikka UPR is already a solid option in 6.5 creed for factory division it would just be hard to choose over a Havak that is available in 6 creed because 6mm is nice if a guy has to be under 12#.

Seems a touch heavy if you want to make 12# weight limit with bipod and scope. I am sure that weight probably includes the magazine, which NRL rules do not. Not sure how much difference that makes.

Are they releasing it at Jagd and Hund? SHOT show is over this weekend right?

Mauser has a new M25 rifle that comes out at Jagd and Hund.

Have any specs been posted by Tikka yet? What I was told was the plan was for the "Game" model to be compliant with factory NRL division. The "Target" model being compliant for PRS. Things could have obviously changed.

Just what i've seen posted on this thread and others that show 9.5# so only very low confidence level #'s.

A guy could get a 9.5# bare rifle to meet NRL Factory class weight (12#) but nobody buying a rifle intended for factory class wants to be limited to 2.5# for rings, scope, bipod, and muzzle device. Like I said, UPR already comes in about right weight wise at a hair under 8#.

If they don't offer it in a 6 creed or fast twist 243 they are going to be eliminated from consideration as a factory class gun for many people immediately anyway.

I’m liking the specs in the left hand tikka in 7mm PRC! 22 inch barrel that’s already threaded 5/8x24 from the factory.

Aren't 90% of factory class guys shooting 65cm? Very few rifles besides havak are notable entries in 6mm fast twist.

Probably? Didn’t they just change the factory class to not having power factor or 6.5 min w/ factory ammo last season? Thought that was a change so maybe not fully caught on yet.
