I was in the market for a Grumman and noticed a new updated Grumman this morning along with others.

Weighs a bit more but promises more durability, color is more a matte now as well. Anyone hear anything else? Decided to go ahead and order it.

Been eyeing this set for awhile. With the GovX discount the new stuff is about the same price as the previous generation. The new versions are heavier but say they are more durable. New version also doesn’t have the PFAS DWR warning so I’m wondering if the water resistance will be the same level.

I'll let you know buddy! Yes the last one was very athletic and rode up on me. Did have a medium prior at 5'11" 180# and it was a bit too tight. Good for a thin under-layer and that was about it. Excited to actually have a large now.

I love the new one, fabric is now matte instead of gloss, it actually feels durable, length almost covers my butt, collar around the neck is substantial, back end doesn’t ride up, pockets are deeper, and there’s now a mesh pocket inside the left side for stove canisters/gloves/hot water.

Only negative is the draw string is still on the back of the head. I don’t like this when I’m trying to sleep with the puffy on. Much prefer these on the front like the Arc’teryx Cerium.
