So we've just had the first production prototypes through for the revised Sentinel legs...When I say revised maybe complete redesign would be more appropriate. We are thrilled to bits with these...
Hilights:
- New Carbon tubing from the company that make carbon control rods for Airbus
- Totally revised top attachment threads with cover to prevent splitting at the top of the tube (I didn't put a handle grip on so that will go below the lip as shown on the last photo)
- Totally redesigned external compression locks. They also have polymer rings inside to make them release and lock smoothly. It only takes 90 deg of rotation on the collar to completely lock the legs up.
- Anti-"clang" bump stops on the locks
- Anti-rotation carbon tubing so the legs slide in and out straight
- All new internal parts created from a new wonder material..
Again all made from 7000 series aerospace aluminium for strength and lightness.
Honestly folks this is game changing for us...

Anybody who had one of the 50 tripods purchased before we found the issues with the bonding will be receiving a new set free of charge once we have thoroughly tested them.

Sweet! Might have to check out the tripods as well. Have you thought about adding the same type of textured surface to the Javelin bipod to allow easier unlocking/locking in cold weather with gloves on?

These are pretty sweet tripods and the new leggs will definitely be as game changer...for a hunting set up this is about as versatile as it gets
