It's pretty much a bright orange ambient except with the exchange rate its like $130US

@Formidilosus It's pretty clear what the light Molinator brings to the table for a light backpacking support bag, but I'm curious how the heavy Molinator differs from the waxed Schmedium with heavy fill? Thanks!

Oh, I don’t think all that much functionally different. The Molinator is rounded/U-shaped versus a “V”, and I do much prefer that as it torques/grabs the forend less.
They just asked what I wanted and I said heavier fill and waxed for range use. They made that one all around larger, and I do wish it were the same size as the regular Molinator.

Awesome, thanks man. Yeah, from the pictures I thought it looked a bit more open in the saddle. The side straps also look horizontal at the base of the bag, versus kind of diagonal on the Schmedium, which seems more useful if you wanted to strap the bag to your pack.
