Looks like velcro to me.Hard to tell from the one picture, but wondering if it has pals webbing for accessory attachment or some other system that only works with their pouches?
Yep just Velcro. Sounds like the wings will be somewhat rigid to stop the flopping around of the accessory pouches.Looks like velcro to me.
I like the wings, I'm hoping more companies start doing that, I haven't been crazy about any of the ones out so far.
Nothing in the catalog on the call holder, assume it’s a prototype or custom jobFrom the catalog, any idea what the little black mouthpiece holder is? @Formidilosus
It looks pretty sweet, using the extra Velcro at the bottom of the bino harness. SG loves Velcro lol.Nothing in the catalog on the call holder, assume it’s a prototype or custom job
What didn't you like about it?I’m curious what they come out with, the gen 1 was a disappointment to me, but they wouldn’t have to change a lot to make it exceptional, but imo, they missed the mark on gen 1
I give the Skyline an 8/10. I think the strap upgrade and reducing the accessory pouch floppiness are the right improvements to make with the new gen but I’m not compelled to upgrade.I have used the gen 1 since day 1. I love it. But the new system looks great. I like the idea of the wings to prevent some flopping. It’s not much but my rangefinder pouch does flop a little. By far the best one for me. Leaning towards trying this one out. Got the catalog right after I ordered a small pocket, down pants and their med kit. I was a little bummed.
It got released today. Im still not a fan of all the velcro due to the noise.
I like a couple of the accessory pocket features like the bullet holder and caribeaner clip in the pocket. The ballistic pouch seemed neat too for those who tactical shoot. Im guessing the new pockets arent compatible with the original. Not enough to make me upgrade from my gen 1.
Damn that sucks. I was hoping to not only get the harness and not need the accessory pocketsWhat velcro and what noise on the new one.
No, it is not compatible with the original bino pouch and harness.

Lol sorry I was fumbling 2 things at once.? I’m not understanding what you are saying or wanting here.
Is it released? I don't see anything on their websiteIt got released today. Im still not a fan of all the velcro due to the noise. If you bought their black label product last year they sent out an email to purchase early before they get released on their website. It'll only be like another week though before they put it up.Is it released? I don't see anything on their website
Lol sorry I was fumbling 2 things at once.
I was hoping to not have to buy a new range finder pouch but I guess I will need to with the new harness
Yup I just called them to confirm and you do need all new accessories. All of the old stuff won't workYes, I believe you will need to buy new ones. This new bino pouch is really made around a “system”.

Yeah I think so too. I like the straps on the harness too. The guy I spoke to said the biggest thing for him was more comfortable straps and that's what this harness addressed for himFor what it was designed for, it is better in every possible way.
