new scopes

I wanted to get new scopes for a couple rifle

I was trying to save money a got to a night force atacr instead of zero compromise scopes

with the night force I can not see the reticle at low power and it always has scope shadow. I've tried adjusting parallax and the eye relief. I can use a nx8 4-32 with no problem.

is there a cheaper option the zero comp or just bit the bullet and get zco scope

how would a leupold compare.

I would stick with NX8 4-32x50 across the board.

You’re probably “losing” the reticle on low power due to FFP. I imagine it’s similar to what I see on 2.5x in my NX8, but I can still effectively utilize the reticle for off-hand shots without the need to see the fine detail. (See phot below: ~30yd @ 2.5x)

ATACRs are great optics.

ZCOs are good, too.

So are March, Tangent Theta, etc.
