New rifle/caliber 6.5-284?

I have a 6.5x284 Sako that was originally a 25-06 and i love the gun. It’s got a muzzle break and the recoil is very manageable. We load ours heavy with the 156 elite Bergers

Not sure I'll ever shoot anything bigger than a 6mm bullet after this season. I liked 6.5 PRC. But after seeing what a 6mm and 22 cal does from 50-905 I don't see a need for a bigger pill.

Go with the 6.5 PRC if you don’t reload… they’re basically twins. There’s nothing wrong with a 6.5cm or the 7-08 either. I love my 7-08

Great cal , better than a cm , = to a prc , but not hampered by having to rely on Hornady ammunition

Why would you have to rely on Hornady ammo for the PRC?
