I think he refered to it as “the manimal”

I guess Levi Morgan collaborated on it.

For a Whitetail pack, I don’t follow the main access zipper concept, not the easiest to get into. Especially with no external zippered pockets (edit, there looks to be a small one on top). I guess they’re forcing sales of the Cinch Piggy Back pack for storing essentials, unless it’s a package deal.

Nothing wrong with the bag I guess, just nothing ground breaking or tailored from my point of view.

There’s a lot of versatility there for a day hunt bag. But not the ease of adding a dry bag to pack camp for multi-day hunt the way Stryker/Hellbender can. I would like that lid design on a Stryker XL.
If you leave the Cinch off, it’s only 2.4lbs for ~2300in. That would be quite light.

That new bag is way too big for my day pack needs; zero interest in it. The "cinch" is just about right. I carry everything I need in a custom bag that's 900 ci. Loops at the btm of the frame and room to cinch up a jacket or two underneath the bag.

But without the Cinch it’s practically one big sack. It’s just not very accommodating for what it weighs.

EXO 7200 is 2.5lbs.
Stone Glacier Talus 6900 is 2.5lbs
Seek is, well, much lighter

And as you point out, the ease of use of the Stryker XL/Hellbender isn’t there.

I would have stood in line to buy this if the main bag opening zipped down further like a “horseshoe”. I cant stand a small opening like that trying to fish stuff out. What a bummer, it checked all my other boxes.

The Exo 7200 and SG 6900 numbers compared to the 2320 maniml are pretty sobering. The weights are much closer than I would’ve guessed.

I think this one is for the whitetail boys who aren’t predominantly on the slide.

If so, they missed the boat IMO. A few small changes and it would make a great whitetail pack, but those needed changes eliminate it as an option for me.

I'll just keep the EXO K3 bag on my Kifaru frame. Really like the Kifaru frame I have but their bags not so much.
The horseshoe bag design is awesome.
