New pack or new bow?

I have a pretty good dilemma. I have 2 things I want to buy but I don't got enough money to buy both of them. I am looking at buying a Exo 3500 pack and a new bow this year. I have the money for the pack right now and am going to order it in the next few weeks. But my problem is my archery side is saying get a new bow. I am looking at bows from the 800-1300 dollar range. With my current set up I have killed 3 elk and 4 mule deer. My only reason I can think of for not getting a new bow is that my current setup is deadly and I really don't want to mess with it. Help me make my decision!!

Get the pack. Killing an animal isn't a guarantee, but you are gonna have to carry all your gear on your back. just my 2 cents

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'd say the bow is working well and there's no guarantee you'll like a new bow more than the one you've got.

If you plan to hunt with a new bow this season I'd get it now and get it dialed in and buy the pack before your hunt

So you have a bow that works well and need a pack but you want to know which to buy? Sounds obvious to me.

get the pack. hardly anythings changed in bow technology last 3-4 years just marketing hype. they depreciate like crazy too, get used bow if you must. got a '15 nitrum for $425 just last week.

As mentioned, your bow seems to be working fine...question is...how is your current pack working. I would get the new pack, and if you want a new bow look at the used market. Agree with bojangles, really nice two year old flagship bows can be hand for nearly 50% off!!

You don't NEED the brand new latest and greatest bow.

If there is nothing wrong with yours, I say hold on to it. Get the pack.

I agree. My Hoyt CRX32 is about 5 years old now. And the bow technology really hasn't changed too much. My bow is so comfortable to shoot, and so accurate. I just don't see the need to spend $1200 for a newer bow that isn't going to kill any better or worse than what i currently have. You can't put a $$ amount on having confidence with your bow / gun. You know your bow, and trust it to do the job. Don't change now. Id go for the pack bro.

You need to get both the bow and the the pack and new camo while you're at it, probably some of the high-end first light gear, your car your truck your dog whatever you have to get everything brand new

In your original post you stated what you already made your mind up what to do just go with that you don't need everything new unless the old is not working efficiently

Get the pack, and some new strings and cables for your bow. Problem solved.
