New Mexico’s super lotto

That was just an example. Should be obvious. i have seen and you can go count them if you want to, up to 100s of mature bull tags for a given unit. And most of those tags are used on the first rifle…first muzzie hunts. That should be obvious also.

That scenario doesn’t happen very often. Most of time those properties have roads around them or through state lands for access to other public lands.

I

What unit gives out a 100 MB in the unit wide voucher at 100 tags per hunt code? It’s doesn’t exist

There are plenty of roads are closed access outside of Elk season that prevent you from accessing public lands, it’s far from a small percentage

In the era of clickbaiting, I don't think interviews with "NM Hunters are mostly not upset with current system" would generate much interest, clicks, etc.

It is not the rosy picture you paint. I will post th link to the podcast again. Suggest everyone listen to this so they really know what is going on here.

You are literally posting podcast links to guys who hunt on the landowner tags.

Maybe if all these guys didn’t pimp out public land hunting they wouldn’t need to make a stupid podcast complaining about a system they use to create content.

Why is ok for every influencer, podcaster, fake non profit, gear and clothing company allowed to profit off public land hunting and use these landowner tags to make content. But when it comes to landowners they don’t get the same consideration. Add in they actually have to meet the requirements to help the wildlife.

You can hunt whatever season you want. The authorization code is not a hunt code. It is unique for each ranch. You can select whatever hunt code you want with your auth code. Most people select the first rifle or first muzzie season which is during the rut in most units. I think the 50s have the most of the MB tags. 52-53 something like that. You can look it up. I have been through the landowner list so many times I am sick of it.

Many of the TV show hunters that hunt in New Mexico do go unit wide LO tags. Why not? It’s not a bad thing if you can afford it. They aren’t taking my hunting away. The state is giving it to them. If you can afford it why not? Is it a fair system? No! Is it a corrupt system? Yes.

So you think it’s fine for them to buy the tags, pimp out wildlife for the sake of profit and content. Which has made LO tags get more expensive.

But it’s somehow a corrupt system ?
