New Mexico elk outfitters unit 13

I have been drawn for an out of state Archery elk hunt in New Mexico for unit 13 (Sept 1-14). Looking for outfitters and or recommendations? I’m not familiar with the area. Only been on one guided Elk hunt currently.

I have never hunted with an outfitter but I always recommend G3 because I hunt some of the same units as them and every time I have interacted with their guides, it has been a good experience. They are very courteous and switch areas when I have beaten them to spots. I'm not sure if they do 13 but I run into them in 17 all the time which is across the highway.

I wouldn’t hunt with a3 unless you’re with the A team.

My buddy hunted with them and it wasn’t good, we were in screaming bulls every morning until 10-11 and his guide had him back at the hotel by 9am.

Keith Williams, Jeff Lester, GT nunn would be a good start to call. I’m sure there’s other good ones.
