As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new TX member.

How was the hunt? Anything to report? I'm heading there in 2029, the only thing I'm stressed over is what boots to take. I'm taking Mountain Extreme non insulated, not sure what insulated boots to take but I've been leaning towards Mountain Extreme 1000. Any input? There is always suggestions from what guys "would" take, but I would like to hear from someone that has been there.

It was incredible, I cant recommend Neal & Brownlee enough for any species that they offer. I used Crispi Wild Rocks, and my feet felt great. The hunt was vehicle based until we spotted rams, and moved into position. So that may have helped. The effort required to get up the mountains had me sweating, so my feet never had a chance to get cold. Who are you going with? Good luck, and I think youll do great with any well fitting, properly insulated boot and sock combo of quality. Also thank you to @eddielasvegas for the welcome! Im sorry I didnt respond in January, I wasnt getting emails.
