Have lived in Idaho 21 years and hunted deer/elk the last 46 years. Claim to fame:
- Won a super tag in ‘09 and shot a cow elk (long story, but best experience ever)
- Was lucky enough to shoot a Red Stag in Poland
- Lost 60 lbs since February and want to take up backpack hunting at age 59

Was lucky enough to find this forum recently and appreciate all of the information discovered here. Rockslide has opened up a whole new world for me.

Thanks guys. I was a guest on the Poland hunt so only time I’ve ever had a guide but it was fun. Otherwise all DIY. Do the best I can and get lucky every now and then. Thanks for the warm welcome.
