Hey Roksliders,

The last order of 100 Rifles took 9 months to get here and with 250 emails signed up to purchase we barely sold the 100 rifles. This time I will ask for a $100 deposit to secure your rifle and when we hit 50 deposits I will place the order for 100 rifles. The last order took 9 months to arrive, but that included time for approval of the order, creation of the SKU for me, and so on. The SKU is now ready to order at any time so this order should be faster, i would guess around 6 months.

Rifle spec:
Tikka T3X Left Handed
.223 REM 20" Stainless
5/8-24 Muzzle threads with cap
$1079 shipped with 2 day FedEx insured.

Order HERE

Gotta get 50 deposits to lock in a batch of 100. Currently at 97. Come guys - where is the lefty love, I know you're here!

When it says 91 in stock, does that mean there are only 9 pre orders so far and there are 41 to go? I messed up and missed the first batch, but I’m a little hesitant to order if it’s 6 months plus however long it takes to make 41 more orders.

Means 9 orders. You should throw in. This is the only way to get one.

They should just place the order. They’ll sell 100 in 6 months. But in the meantime just throw your name in the hat.

This may(or quite possibly be the wrong) place to ask this question but here it is. I understand that the tikka is the preferred action of many here. As a left handed(more importantly left eyed) shooter is the stainless tikka that much better than the blued? I am really leaning to a tikka ctr as my first bolt action over a zermatt and criteon combo from nss. In left handed form it doesn't appear to be available in stainless. I would want the little bit heavier barrel to put in actual shooting strings to get competent as opposed to the shoot 3 wait 30 minutes on the lite. Thoughts on the blued? Technically I could build a stainless from ja by buying an action and removed barrel for less than 2000 but that is only 200 short of a full custom that could be a 6 arc no recoil whitetail machine. Thanks

The blued will be fine. I had my lefty blued CTR cerakoted for a bit of weather protection, but even that probably isn't necessary. I've had it in the rain a lot even prior to the paint. Wipe it down after use.

That being said, the factory stainless Lite Tikka barrels can be shot as fast as you want without issue. That shouldn't be the sole reason to get a CTR.

The blued tikka is fine for most people. That shouldn’t hold you back.

But the tikka lite is a better platform for more uses and you can absolutely shoot it in 223 at a good pace. You don’t need to baby it. You might just shorten the barrel life a bit if you’re shooting at extreme speeds. You can get 10 round mags for it. And the light is more useful for a lot of things.

If you’re shooting for tight groups in larger calibers. .223’s for impacts in steel targets and stuff? Fire away. 223 isn’t too hard on barrels.

Thanks! I thought while the lites were awesome they don't like more than a couple 5 round strings every 20ish minutes?

I haven’t been able to shoot mine fast or long enough to see any issue. These 30rnds were shot in about 5min. Mirage is the only issue I have found.
