The Tiburon's will for sure be my early season pant! They let the slightest breeze in and for the chilly mornings you can just throw on some merino bottoms and you'll be cherry. They seem like they'll be a little more snag resistant than the attack's due to the difference in material which will be a good thing. I have been studying the top since I got home a while ago and was wondering, am I the only one that thinks it may have been better to have the stretch of the material go horizontally, with your arm rather than vertically? I just find it odd how the wrist cuff of the shirt has virtully no stretch, where as the ankle cuff on the pants does since the stretch of the material is setup horizontally rather than vertically... Any of that make sense? Or am I alone in my thinking? :)

Wore my tiburon pants for a 5 mile hike this am. Was concerned about them only being 2 way stretch, but no worries. They were very comfortable and had plenty of give for squatting down and lifting legs up high when going uphill or going over rocks and logs. I didn't experience any binding.

Temps were about what I'd see here in AZ during archery elk season. It was about 52 when I started hiking and 75 when I finished up. Pants ventilated very well and I could feel the slightest breeze through them.

My T-shirt was pretty soaked from sweat, but my legs were very comfortable.

Pants are very quiet and more durable feeling than lightweight nylon pants. Quieter than nylon pants too.

I'd love to see a hat made out of the Tiburon material (boonie and ball cap) as well as have the pants available in solid colors. I'm sure they'd be my favorite summer scouting pants.

Juan_ID - I think you have a great point. I just checked the sleeves in my top and also believe the fit would be better if it stretched the other way.

Maybe it was supposed to stretch that way in the original design.

When I draw my bow back the sleeves are tighter than I want them to be.

I hope they don't shrink when I wash them.

But I have to say, the fabric is pretty awesome. Quiet. Seems pretty durable. Not flimsy at all. Non- reflective and absorbs light well. Combined with the Vias Camo pattern, a nice combo.

Exactly right! At first I thought they should have used a more stretchy blend of fabric for the arms but like you I realized they just stretch the wrong way.

huntography me too, I put it on and drew my bow and it's gets real tight around my forearm and I am not real muscular by any means... But yes the fabric is really cool! It offers alot of stretch even though it's only 2way instead of 4way, real comfy and no binding through the range of motion, can't wait to get back out!

The stretch direction was tested both ways during the making of the Tiburon Zip-T, and the way it is now was in fact the best option for all around mobility and flexibility- especially in the shoulders and back.

Its deff great but i had to order the next size up (after i got my normal size that was too small in the arms and length) in the top so it would fit my arms so i could move. Maybe a tip for others when ordering to order up. Just a thought. Other then that i really dig the material!

The stretch direction in the body of the shirt is great. Its the arms that are not. Can the stretch direction not be different in the arms. Or even different just from like the elbow down? I am not even a muscular guy and just bending my arms like to draw the bow is uncomfortable. Seems a number of other ideas would have worked too... run a strip along the inside of the arm to create a bit of stretch in the oppotsite direction would have been awesome. Or even just simply cut the forearms bigger to compensate for the lack of stretch.

I dont really want to size up cause the fit is great. Deciding if I should try it in the field or send it back or sell it off.

Pants are awesome for sure.

I really like the pants. The side vent on them is huge by the way. I felt they were a little tight but I think Im still just too fat.

The shirt Im torn on. I wish it had more stretch for archery but I think itll work in some heat such as arizona or Texas. Ill probably keep it.

The Yukon gloves are big! Definitely meant to have layer underneath them. They fit well over other gloves, its just up to you if want two gloves or not.

The new yukon pants seem good. I was initially just curious about them but am starting to considering keeping them and wearing them around. We'll see how I feel on them after a couple of weeks. Hard to put them through a good test right now. They are definitely heavy and big. So Id say only get them if you plan to wear them a lot.

I ran into the same problem. This seems to be common thing with all Kuiu shirts and jackets, but I could hardly bend my arm in the Tiburon shirt. I cut the sleeves off and now have a Tiburon t-shirt.

I may cut the sleeves length wise and add some fabric so that I draw my bow easier.

It reminds me of a similar issue Predator has with their fleece tops - they are too short for tall guys like myself. They offered me fleece fabric to add to make the sleeves longer.

Tiburon toray fabric is great. Stretch fabric in the wrong direction in the sleeves, not so much.

Hopefully in a second run, Kuiu can make the adjustment.

I thought about that two maybe add like 1-2 inch strip of black mesh along the inside of the sleeve from the armpit to the wrist. Some mesh with some stretch to it would be nice. Just not really wanting to start cutting up a $100 shirt...

I too hope KUIU fixes it in a second run and that thought makes me just want to send it back and wait

Decisions decisions.

I'm glad I passed on the Tiburon shirt with the general consensus so far. Pants should get here today or tomorrow and looking forward to testing them out.

The shirt fits me fine but Im not a big guy, at least big chest. I would like the bottom hem to either be bigger or have a little stretch as it tries to ride up a little. Its more if I am at full draw its a little restrictive. I guess if was bigger armed it would be a worse problem.

I was actually disapointed with how the pants fit. I wear a 32" waist in the attack and the Tiburon pants were so tight it looked like skinny jeans. So I sent them back and going to try the 34" hopefully they wont be swimming on me.

Unfortunately from the way it sounds I doubt it'll change... They claim to have tested it for a long time before going to production both ways and the stretch going length-wise worked best, kinda struck me as odd... There seems to be a number of things that would have made it alot better fitting in the arms...
