New Kifaru belt power pull keeps slipping

Man,I'm a kook!! I'm in a tree now, so gunna be quick. It was riding low last night. Talked with frank or texted him and he reminded me of the basics. Shoulder strap bar slide thing at Collar bone, bring belt higher then last night.(don't know why I decided to ride it so low last night) adjust load lifters, and I barely had any slippage. Little slippage with power pull, not as bad as first time. Hike In felt pretty good.

UL frame has carbon arrows. K, gotta go

I just received my new Hunting Duplex yesterday and I was concerned about this power pull/belt slipping. For $700+ I was really expecting a foolproof functional system.

What I found was that I could try to tighten the hip belt a lttle by pulling the belt through the power pull without actually tightening the belt buckle/clasp; this would lead to a slip. If I pulled enough to tighten the belt buckle/clasp then it would not slip. To make a small hip belt adjustment I found that sticking my thumb behind the main hip buckle would allow me to make a small adjustment without the slippage. I don't think my shirt was causing a jam, but who knows?

What I found was that I'm very satisfied with my EMR II & Hunting Duplex purchase. I'm rather tight with my money, but I'm loving my new Kifatu setup.

Guys with the slipping problem shown in Colonel's YT vids:

Try sucking in your gut (whether you think you have one or not ;) ) while you are pulling the power pull tight. Suck in as far as you can. You need to create some space for the innermost feed (strap contacting your girlish figure - aka gut) of the power pull to move freely while you are pulling. If you don't create the space (by sucking in or putting your finger behind it - effectively the same thing - except you can do both at the same time by sucking in) then the inner feed will stay put while the outter feed will move toward the buckle without actually tightening (as shown in the vids).

Hopefully that will help.
