I've been developing this turkey broadhead for a couple of years. It is designed to cut into the vitals with the main blade and then the claw hooks into the tissue slowing the arrow down and transferring maximum knockdown energy. Late last fall we sent broadheads to a few Roksliders to test these heads. If you were one of the testers last fall or have bought the broadheads and tested them this spring, please share your results here.

Last season, I had the opportunity to put the new turkey broadhead to the test, and it didn’t disappoint. I took multiple birds with the same head, proving just how durable these are. I ran the 125gr Wide, which performed flawlessly. My shot was at 12–15 yards with my 75# Mathews, and the bird barely made it 8 yards before going down.

I shoot the Easton Axis Long Range arrows so I swapped out the Claw for the bleeder blades and followed the broadhead alignment video to install the main blade. I saw no difference in flight as I bare shaft tune out to 50 yards.

Really excited for the upcoming turkey season and hope to take more birds with the same broadhead!
