Have not hunted in a few years. Got bit by a tick and have Alpha-GAL since 2024. I hope this fall or next it will be low enough that I will not react.

I hunt mostly Jefferson National Forest, but it own ~100 acres that joins it so I can walk in easy.

My go-to right now is a suppressed 243 Kimber.

As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new VA member.

P.S. VA is my home state. Grew up in Va. Beach, but it seems now that Abby is in charge VA will be Cali east in short order. What a shame.

Welcome to the Rok!
I lived for six years in Scott County, drove a big red truck and spent some time in the JeffersonNF. Never hunted there because we got all we needed on our own place. I throughly enjoy hunting here in the West, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss Virginia from time to time…

Welcome!

I currently spend about half my time in the middle of our beautiful commonwealth (although it may not be that for much longer) and the other half the time on my family farm in Tazewell County (where I do 95% of my hunting).

I love the mountains around Oriskany - my place is off old rail. Of course they made that trails to rails with high hopes of 100’s of thousands of annual visitors - I’ve not seen more than 2 or 3 bike riders ever and they lived on Old Rail. VA is not making good choices these days.
