New guy in PNW/WA

New to the club here. Born and raised PNW and avid in marine fishing, fly fishing, backpacking etc. My brother in law took me on a hunt 3 years ago and I feel in love with it all (as did my kids!). During the pandemic I built my first rifle (Remington 700 300RUM) now have a quiver in the safe. Harvested my first mule deer in Idaho last season. Glad to be here!

Living in Battle Ground, WA. Did not grow up a hunter and it wasn’t until about 3 years ago when I left the military I took up the interest. 29 years old with a wife a two kids and career so hunting is just my excuse to get out into the woods a couple times a year by myself. Haven’t taken a large animal yet..still learning!
