Been reading on here for a while, trying to plan a hunt for this fall. I have been hunting whitetail a all
My life, but wanting to spend more time out west. I have hunted elk twice in Colorado and it just created a desire for more. Can't get anyone local to commit to a trip, so looks like solo adventures for now.

Lord willing, I am headed to unit 53 for 2nd rifle season in the west elk wilderness. Finally got my vacation time approved, just a few more things to gather and I will be ready.
