New guy from central California

Found this site looking at pack reviews lots of information here. I'm not your typical backpacking hunter. I pack in to the emigrant wilderness 1 or 2 times a year for deer hunting and fishing. I use my frame weekly for hog hunting to pack out meat. I hunt with dogs and when they take off I grab my frame and follow. Hope to keep getting useful information from here thanks.

That’s a nice area, I lived in oakdale and worked in Ceres for a while. Never took the chance to hunt around there though, I missed out

That's good I hunt every weekend except for 2 or 3 a year. I try to fish twice a month too.
