watching the video with my young boys of Aron vs. the pack. my son asked what's he doing. I told him he was working and his job it to try and break the pack. "Dad, I want a job like that!"

So here's the only problem I see..... you guys keep saying Kifaru is built for life. But with these awesome advancements no one is gonna have one long enough to know.......
:) :)
Anyone looking for a 26" duplex frame with composite stays ?

Great stuff Aron. You are going to get a lot of phone calls asking for help picking a pack! Kifaru sure provides a few options! Look forward to seeing more of these in action.

You'll save about what? 1.5 lbs with an uncut T1?

More so about function rather than saving weight. My plan would be to use the high camp bag and that frame. 2 belt pockets (on the sides so I can access them when pack is on) and the E&E as a lid.

I dont care too much for the side pockets on the t1, or the back pockets. Id rather not have them be there if they arnt going to get used very much. I said if kifaru made a big bag, with no pockets with a lighter, slighly more flexible frame like the t1 I would be interested.

I still dont know though, Ill wait a while to make a decision. Assuming I can offload my T1 for the prices they were going for prior to this release.

I'm glad I waited to purchase a new pack. Now the hard part is going to be choosing what bag to put on the new frame. I what a pocket to put my spotting scope in. I want to protection for the swaro. So i need to decide if i go with the T2 or the new bag with the scope in a pocket. Does anyone know how an angled scope with a 60mm objective fits in the side pockets of the T2?

I have that same sentiment, although I'm going to stick with the DT1 bag, and pick up the new frame for the 2.3 lb weight savings. What I do like about the new bag is that its got that roll top feature. I'd love to ditch my XTL lid for that as I never use it that much. The T1 is 1000d cordura vs 500d, I wonder if itll make a difference or not

T series is made of 500d too not the 1000.

The military line is made of 1000d from what i understand

The high camp bag looks good! Exactly what Im looking for. One big bag with the ability to add whatever pockets I want or need at the time.

Very nice new products. That brown color however is not an option here in NY. Odds of coming out of the woods alive would be slim to none! Definately sticking with my DT3 and the Duplex frame. It is so comfortable the few extra lbs are not even noticed. The frame is top notch for hauling my ground blinds and treestands. I think I have the perfect pack. I absolutely love it!!!!

I wish the new bag was available in other colors :(

Agree with above^

I said much the same in earlier post. My vote would be for Foliage added if they are going to put at least one more color option.

This system does look great; it is more like going Kifaru back to the past ( Ala longhunter bag) with a simple bag profile that can have add ons to it. Granted this bag goes better and integrates better with kifaru's current accesories- but the concept is much the same.

For me, I would maybe go with one of these new bags for this frame if it was offered in Foliage; otherwise I will just put on my "old school" G2 Foliage LH Guide bag. ( which is less than 2 years old ;) )
