Just when I completely had my mind made up on a DT1.....Do I stay that route, go with the all new setup, new frame-old bag, decisions, decisions.

Aron, would there be any reason to stay with the DT suspension over the bikini?

How heavy of a load have you tested the new frame under? Is there much lateral shift in the load on this new frame?

Definitely liking what I am seeing here!! Now I need to figure out how I can afford it haha.

The Bikini/DT1 bag is going to be a hell of a combo for sure.

I love the Duplex, but for my style of hunting, the frame sheet is not needed. The Bikini is obviously missing that, and it will give your back a little more protection.

I have tested the frame with over 300 lbs and packed over 200. You will get less than 3/16 shift when the pack is empty, but when it's full, you won't have any.

I will post a video up tomorrow of me body slamming the pack multiple times, throwing it in the air and some 4 foot drops straight on its end (with 70 lbs in the pack). I'm not saying in unbreakable, it just haven't been able to do it!

Very impressive for pack at any weight.

My neighbors were giving me some funny looks out the window!

To put things into perspective on weight: If you modify the DT1 like I have (cut off extra plastic common loops and sleeping bag divider, you'll have a 7,200 cubic inch pack....with sewn on pockets, for 5 lbs. If you add the Longhunter lid (and modify it like I have) it will be just over 5lbs 7 oz's and 8,200 CI.

The Bikini frame will open a lot of doors for backpack hunters.

If you look at how versatile and modular the High Camp bag is, you will find that you can set this bag up exactly like you want it for each hunt. The Belt Pouches are what will make this happen. You have the option of attaching any size pouch to the webbing. So you can make it look like a Timberline bag, but have the option of sticking on whatever CI pouch you need for that particular hunt.

What size is the bag in the pictures ?

That's the 6,500

To give you an idea, I am able to fill the DT1 bag up all the way to the snow collar and put the same amount in the High Camp with a little room left over. This was with clothing and towels (not real scientific), but the bag is pretty big for the options and weight.

Aaron,
I'm so excited after watching the video. The set up looks unbelievable! Perfect timing on the release because I was buying a kifaru when I got back from my AZ hunt in a couple of weeks. I love how you can customize with different pockets on back and the K hooks for compressing at different angles. Bye bye eberlestock and sore shoulders

Thanks for the links. They worked great. Vimeo works for me. I run a iPhone and it's been a while since I've been able to click and watch a video on the site. I usually go to Vimeo and search. Videos post's just come up blank for me. My software is up to date. Not sure what the deal is.

Very cool looking pack system. I will be keeping my eye on this for sure. Am interested in the frame for a day pack with pods and meat hauling capabilities with cargo shelf or grab it to start. Would the duplex be a better for these uses with the sheet?

Looks awesome. Couple of questions, is there a hydration/misc sleeve inside? Is there a divider inside? Is the belt the same as the duplex series or interchangeable with the duplex belt? Lastly, its already very light weight but will there be a KU bag version of the highcamp/etc? Woops, more than a couple questions.
Thanks
