It's Dec 6 and I just noticed we got this new forum!!! LOL awesome
Great Idea Mike!My little squirrel gun. SWFA 6x42 scope, which is also on all my big game rifles. This helps me practice fast acquisition at close range with the fixed 6X. Plus I dial with and hold for wind at longer ranges. Nice to use one scope for all hunting.

Dumb question, sorry. Was this with a blow dart? Or what kind of apparatus was used?View attachment 474504
Heading out for the first time tomorrow. Hopefully post some more pics after.

We used to live outside of Baker City, OR and it took some ingenuity but I finally figured out how to put a few fox squirrels in the bag. Love those things. I grew up hunting the great big western gray squirrels in southwestern Oregon, and now live where I can hunt them again. They’re big, beautiful and great on the table but those fox squirrels are my favorite. I’d love to go to one of the Carolinas someday and hunt for those multicolored big boys.
Finally figuring out the fox squirrels here in Idaho. Got 5 this day back in February, ended up doing crockpot squirrel and dumplings for a wild game potluck at church. Got 3 on Friday afternoon and introduced my wife and kids to fried squirrel for dinner tonight. No season or limit on them since they are non natives here

This is probably a really dumb question but are some of those bunnies swampers or marsh rabbits on the tail gait pic? The ears on the three to the right look short and broad.About time!
