Just in from doing 4.5 miles, a dizzying 298 vertical feet, hauling a windbreaker and couple water bottles inside a large batwing and my wife's tenni runners lashed on...handled the load awesome...like 8lbs. Thought you would want to know!

I divided it up - 2 trips, 4lbs each.Must be an incredible pack if it can handle 8 pounds!
The Molle belt layout is better than any other brand I think. Exo is missing a row of Molle/PALS in my opinion.
I made a couple adjustments as mentioned above:
-positioned the shoulder straps higher which effectively moved the load lifter anchor farther forward
-i pulled the lumbar pad with the intention to bevel the body side lower edge because it felt like it was bumping down on my pants belt. Lo and behold it was already beveled...but the bevel was on the top side and square edge on bottom. I simply reversed that orientation as pictured here, reinserted it, and velcro'd it as high in the pocket as I could.

-i reinstalled the load sling thingy to use as just strapping my sandbags on was not holding them in place.
65# sandbag today along with whatever the frame plus molle'd hydration pouch and kill kit - probably smidge over 70#. All the little niggles mentioned before solved. Worked great, I think it's dialed!View attachment 927577

Perceived effort even better/less...but it was cooler

Why the Exo belt with the mod frame? Did you ever have an Exo k4 to compare the two? I found the mod frame stays put better on my pack than the mainframe ever did with the normal belt and the large padded belt.
