Yeah, we are walking a tightrope of politics with this one no doubt.

I think the ATF needs to have a clear mission statement and mandates.

Maybe something simple like;
ATF's responsibility is to keep guns out of the hands of Criminals and felon.
ATF will respect the rights of lawful citizens and their right to defend themselves and their family against criminals.

Unless it changes to the point I can go down to my LGS and purchase a full auto and my can with no issues or taxes it doesn't matter.

It’s going to be taxed. Whether it becomes an item that can be bought over the counter or not.

Curious here given the amount of copper bbs my young self sent at anything I could kill in my vicinity. Are there all copper shot options for shotguns? Or does the use of steel shot nullify the need for those types of options? Seems like it would likely be cheaper than TSS or similar options.

None that I am aware of. But, I stopped looking when Winchester longbeard came out. It doesn’t hold the ability to kill at the ranges hevi-shot loads can. But, the patterns at 50 yards are incredible. So, I can’t justify the extra for tss

Absolutely Zero constitutional authority for it.

Regulating two vices and one Constitutionally enumerated God-given natural right.

Not that the Constitution means anything but it would be a nice gesture.

From running a distillery the ttb does all the alcohol licensing. ATF really doesn’t do anything there.
