New developments coming this summer

I put these pants to the test. Wore them 6 days straight, slept in them also. The weather ranged from cold and windy with rain and snow showers to hot and sunny. Legs started to get cold one morning glassing, but they were perfect for a September hunt. Stretch was excellent for deadfall, zero binding extremely comfortable.

I was really impressed with the hybrid fleece! I have not tried any other hybrid tops but this will be my go to mid layer. I put it on after a rainy hike up to the top, wind picked up I put on the hybrid it blocked wind and dried my layer underneath as I climbed the last 200 ft. Also the hood is perfect and great to sleep with in the quilt. Wore this as a mid and next to skin. Warm comfortable breathable top, easy to wear and packs down small. Great job!

I just wrapped up a 5 day elk hunt. Wore the pants for ~4 of them. The fit/comfort/etc was perfect. Zero complaints in that department.

Durability wise - They do have quite a bit of fabric pulls/runs for what seemed like a pretty standard hunt going through manageable deadfall which is a little disappointing. I guess that’s the trade off for breathability.

To be clear - This is not a knock on OV. Just reporting my observations. I think think they have put a very solid product out on the market at a very reasonable price point. The pants are good value for money in my opinion!
My experience with the pants is the same. One day with a bit of brush busting and there are a number of fabric pulls. I think it's to be expected that pants being this comfortable would not be as durable/resistant to thorns. I still like them, but have to tamper my expectations for the best of all qualities.

Used the new OV pants for week hunt in New Mexico, so stretchy and comfortable. Perfect fit! Great Job! There are some fabric pulls from lots of deadfall snags, but that’s the trade off for the comfort and wearability of these pants. My go to September Pant now!

Used the fleece during a moose archery hunt, 8 days. Temps from 30 to 60, yeah warm. Worked extremely well, stayed warm and dried quickly when wet.

Oh and the blood cleans out well also

I'll go with and against the grain at the same time. Helped a buddy on his elk hunt here in AZ for 5 total days in the past 2 weeks. The fleece is great. It is starting to pill on the back from a bino harness. Not the end of the world but since it ws only 5 days, I'm sure after a season it would look pretty rough. The pants fit and feel good. I'd almost say too much stretch but they do feel good. This is where I go against the grain, the durability on the pants are flat out not good. Pilling and pulls after going through some pretty mild terrain aka junipers country. Yes the pants are supposed to be light, but I honestly don't understand how they can be considered hunting pants. I'm shocked the guys from exo love them and that they were gonna go with a lighter material than what they are. Kutana pants are still king in lightweight and durable hunting pants. I can say with confidence that the Walmart wrangler pants are more durable than these pants which is saying something. You guys are too nice saying they get a pass for durability because they are light. No. Any real use and you'll see what I'm saying. The perfect pant would be kutana durability with OV fit. If OV can make a more durable option, they would have something. In my opinion, $135 for the level of durability isn't worth it.

Got my pants today and wore them for about 8 hours scouting and hunting bears. Love the fit, but I wish they were a little more stretchy at the leg cuffs. Internal belt is great, hip vents are great, and I’m pretty happy with the pockets. Nicely done OV!

Sure sounds like all of us who have worn them for more than a day are less then impressed with the durability. I will say that they are my favorite pant, fit and function wise. Everything about them is awesome, unless you plan on wearing them for more than a season. I tell my buddies if you are looking for a backpacking pant, one where you won't leave the trail, these can't be beat. Due to the gigantic lack in durability I won't be buying another OV product. Looking forward into what Argali comes out with.

I am in full agreement with this. My kutanas have held up to years of hunting with basically no fabric pulls, but they are way too tight on the thighs.
Could try going up a waist size. I'm a 32/30 in most pants, went 34 short in Tiburons. A little loose in the waist but perfect around the rear end and thighs. Belt keeps em in place fine.

The OV return/exchange process is incredibly slow and leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure why it takes up to 10 business days to review the return of a new item before sending the exchange item out to the customer. Hopefully I’ll receive my exchange before the hunting trip.

I know there's not a lot of first hand experience out there but can someone compare the Vantage Puffy to the Kuiu Super Down Pro? I have the Kuiu but I haven't been overly impressed with it and the two seems to have similar specs. @Mark at EXO @Brigham @ Outdoor Vitals
Piece isn’t out yet so hard to get feedback aside from specs. The OV piece has about 3oz+ more down than a super down pro. No stupid pit zips like kuiu uses on that piece (people voted for these in its original development). Other primary differences will be cut and fabrics used.
