New developments coming this summer

@Brigham @ Outdoor Vitals - I got the latest "New Gear Release Update" email.

To take some additional slack out of the presale ordering timeline, could you share with Rokslide community comments/measurements for sizing of each piece?

The planner in me wants to review size charts, fitment guides, etc before I get into the ordering process. Totally understand if it suits the larger team just to hold off until the pre-sale is live.

Interior Drop pockets in the puffy would be a nice addition - I didn’t see those mentioned.

A boot lace hook on the pant legs would also be another next-level feature.

The active insulation piece sounds perfect. I have the UL60 from Sitka and agree with the comments about the fit being awkward—that weight and mapping is still almost perfect for an all-day piece in 25 degree or under weather. The Ambient 75 moved to the evolve line, improved a bit on the fit, but didn’t have thumb loops. The solid color option was limited to olive.

Good questions here. Regarding torso lengths. The hybrid fleece and puffy will be made in standard and tall torso sizes. The pants are made in 30, 32, and 34 inch inseams. Waist sizes will be in 1 inch increments from 29 to 36. 2 inch increments above 36.
Do the pants have an elastic waistband as well as the built in belt? I wear a 32 about half the time and a 33 the other half- any insight on best size if I plan to sometimes (<33%) wear them over long johns?

No elastic. If you want to layer them over long johns, I'd lean towards recommending the 33s — not to create room in the waist, but to just have a bit more room in the leg for layering.

OK folks, the presale for the Altura pants and Pursuit Hybrid Fleece is going live on Monday, August 11 at 9:00 am Mountain time.

The Vantage Alpine Jacket will come a few weeks later.

There are no known delays with the pants or fleece so preorders will likely ship out September 1 or 2.

If you're already signed up for the emails you're all set to be notified and provided with the links to order. If you haven't, here's the link to be notified and receive a discount. OV Mountain Pursuit Line

The discount is directly connected to your email address when you opt in for the emails. So it will only work if at the time you order, you have already signed up.

Underutilized meme!

Debating 33 or 34 waist. I'm honestly a 32-33, but it's rare to be able to actually order 33s, and anything relatively athletic fit, I do better with 34s. Kuiu attack and katanas in 34 are good for me.

Kudos on not just doing even sizing!!
I'm in the same boat all my normal pants are 32's with some exceptions of 33's for tighter fitting pants but I have to go 34 in my Attacks and Kutana's, but then I end up with a ton of extra waist band.

But it sounds like OV has dialed in these pants to have accurate waist sizing with roomy but fitted ass and thighs, so hopefully a 32 or 33 will work.

Honestly im debating on just ordering 32 through 34 and keeping what fits best lol.

I am a 32 in most pants (occasionally a 33, but it isn't common), and the 32s in OV fit great. I can't imagine wearing a 32 in anything and going up to a 34 in OV. If you are a 32/34 tweener on other brands, go 33 at the max.

How about inseam? I generally wear 30x34's, but some companies 34's drag the ground by about an inch on me. Prana brion and zion (original) 34 inseams fit right, so would these be comparable to that in inseam length?

That’s good intel. I am a 34 measured at the waist/hips and had 34s in wrangler ATGs. Went to pick up another pair at Costco and the 34s were huge. I’ll be aiming for 34s then - leaving room for my manly merino mesh leggings
