So the time has come. My work boots that I’d been using as hikers are bout done. I’m looking into a a nice Pair of Crispi’s. Going with something proper for once! I’m looking for a versatile boot that I can occasionally hike in a heavy pack with and still use for a day hiker in snowy conditions. I do a lot of squirrel hunting. Once a year I do a DYI elk hunt where we hike in and drop camp with a heavy pack. Do several trips where we hike in 5 miles and camp/fish for a day or two a year as well. I live and hunt in Colorado. Most time is spent in the mountains. Have decent ankles. I like good support, but want something with a little more flex than work boots. What’s your opinion. I’m open to other brands, it’s just I constantly see raving reviews for Crispi.

These have been my boot of choice for years but everyone's feet are different so hard to say what will work for you.
