Huh, I just wear flip flops most of the year and work out at the gym, never wear big clunky hiking boots. Last time I did a 14er in my flip flops I got the stink eye and a coment that I was putting everyone on the mountain in danger from a guy that looked like he was equiped to climb Denali.
