New Bergara Chambering

Just received an email from Bergara saying watch for a new chambering. Bet it's a 7 PRC.

Did you ever get a new rifle? I sold my 30 06 and 300 win mag for a 7 mm mag. The 300 was a tack driver but it didn't drop elk any faster than a 7 mm mag. Would like a 7 PRC but haven't found one I really like.

I watched my sons drop elk at 660 and 600 yards last year with their 7 mm mags and terminal ascent ammo. 1 shot kills very impressed. There used Bergara Wilderness Ridge rifles. I picked 1 up this year. Tack drivers but a bit heavy (10.2 lbs with scope). Wished they would go on a diet!

I replaced the stock with a Grayboe and put a 4 port TI Pro for a muzzle brake. It's amazing how light it shoots!

Would like a Tikka in 7 PRC if they ever make one.

I was right its a 7 PRC for the carbon wilderness and Crest rifles.

1 in 8 twist for the Crest, carbon ridge and carbon HMR.
All 22" barrels.
HMR 8.1 lbs.
Crest 6.8 lbs and the Ridge 6.5 lbs.
