I've always been intrigued by this cartridge from when it was introduced more than a decade ago, but didn't have the $$$ to spring for a $7000 pistol (now looks like it's going for ~$10k)

I saw that there was one for around the $1500 mark so I decided to order it and finally see if it was what I dreamed it would be.

First thoughts:
It's heavy--pro and con to that, I suppose. In a chest rig, I probably won't feel the weight of it. It certainly helps mitigate recoil and it feels more like shooting my Glock 20 10mm.
It's accurate--point and shoot as far as I can hold steady.
It's fast (see chrono pics)--SBR ballistics out of a 5.5" handgun
It's versatile--drop the 10mm barrel in it if you want a more pedestrian configuration with lower recoil (feels like a 9mm +P or 40sw in the larger platform.) The S&B 10mm is pretty anemic, but was also very consistent, which is surprising for being cheap.

I see Gunfighters Inc makes a holster for it, so I'll probably order one to reduce the risk that it just sits in my safe as a novelty.

It's a really cool gun, albeit a little boutique. If you have a propensity to buy niche stuff, or suffer poor impulse control like I do, I highly recommend!
